This central part, reaching altitudes of 600 to 1,100 meters (2,000 to 3,600 feet) , benefits from the alluvial sediments and mineral deposits of the Andes. The main varietals of the region are <strong>Malbec<\/strong>, <strong>Chardonnay<\/strong>and <strong>Cabernet<\/strong> <strong>Sauvignon<\/strong>, producing wines of great structure and intensity.
